Jesse Hartov is a media composer and music producer based in Nashville and Los Angeles, hailing from the verdant and lush fields of Town You Haven’t Heard Of, Kinda Outside New York, New Jersey.
Recently, Jesse co-composed for Percy Jackson & The Olympians (Disney+), contributing to a score that has since been nominated for a Children’s Emmy. Other recent TV work includes the sci-fi series Foundation on Apple TV+, and Halo on Paramount+.
In the video game world, Jesse contributed music and produced the score for Call of Duty: Vanguard, with further musical contributions on its sister title, Call of Duty: Warzone. The Vanguard score was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media, as well as an International Film Music Critics Association Award for Best Original Score for a Video Game or Interactive Media, and a Game Audio Network Guild Award for Best Main Theme.
In the TV world, Jesse has contributed music to shows such as The Walking Dead (AMC), See (Apple TV+), Proven Innocent (Fox), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC), and Outlander (Starz).
Jesse’s film projects include DASH (XYZ), Deltopia (Lionsgate), Freaky (Blumhouse), The Babysitter: Killer Queen (Netflix), and the documentary Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution (Netflix). The documentary, which explores the origins of the disability rights movement in America, garnered an Academy Award nomination, an Audience Award at Sundance, and a Peabody Award, among others. The score also received a nomination at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. Jesse was honored to be a part of this impactful project, and considers it a highlight of his career thus far.
